Get ready to make your mark on the colorful trail to Rainbow Mountain

Early Departure: Our guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco between 04:30 and 05:00 AM, starting our exciting journey. We will head towards the charming town of Cusipata in a comfortable tourist vehicle, during a two-hour trip. During the journey, you will enjoy the view of picturesque villages, llamas, alpacas, and everyday scenes of the locals.

Breakfast in Cusipata: Upon arrival at Cusipata (3,310 msnm), we will enjoy a nutritious group breakfast. This is a perfect moment to socialize and prepare for the hike.

Ascent to Vinicunca: Afterwards, we will transfer to the Phulawasipata camp (4,650 msnm). From here, we will begin our approximately 90-minute hike to the summit of the Rainbow Mountain Vinicunca (5,090 msnm), where spectacular views and unique photo opportunities await you.

Exploration and Learning: At the viewpoint, our expert guide will provide a detailed explanation about the geology and cultural significance of the mountain, along with views of the majestic Ausangate Snowy Mountain (6,384 msnm).

Return to Cusco: After some time to explore and enjoy the landscape, we will descend to Phulawasipata and return to Cusipata for a well-deserved buffet lunch. Our return to Cusco is scheduled for 16:30 hrs.
